How to create and delete an user account in Window 10 - Learn With AVRK

Create a new user account in Windows 10

There are some basic steps to create a new user account....

Step 1 : Click on the 'Windows button'.

Step 2 :  After clicking on the Windows button, There you will get a 'Settings' of  your computer, click on it.

Step 3 : Once the settings window is open, click on the 'Accounts' option to go ahead.

Step 4 : Then click on the 'Family and other users' option.

Step 5 : Now, click on the 'Add someone else to this PC'.

Step 6 :  When you click on Add someone else to this PC option, a Microsoft account window will open, asking you for the sign-in details of the new user. If you have the details of that user, then move on by providing all the details. Otherwise, click on 'I don’t have this person’s sign-in information'.

Step 7 : Here Another window will open, asking you to create a new account. You can easily create a new Microsoft account if you want. If you don’t want to create a new account, Then click on 'Add a new user without a Microsoft account' and go ahead.

Step 8 : Now, Enter the name, password and some required security details. Then click on 'Next button'. 

Step 9 : You will see that a new local user account is created successfully.

Now, let’s see how we can log into the new user account.......

For doing so continue the following steps.

Step 1 : Click on the 'Windows logo' and then click on the 'Account icon'.

Step 2 : After clicking on the account icon, You will see that the new user account's name is appeared.

Step 3 : To login into the new user account, click on the 'Sign-out button'.

Step 4 : Once you are successfully signed-out, you will see two user accounts.

Step 5 : Click on the 'New user account' and enter the password.

With this, you will be successfully logged in to your new user account.

Deleting a user account in Windows 10

Now we are going to delete our user account in Window 10

So let's start, The following steps are.......

Step 1 : Click on the 'Windows logo' at the bottom left corner of your computer screen.

Step 2 : After clicking on the Windows logo, You will see a 'Settings' of your computer, click to open it.

Step 3 : After opening settings, click on the 'Accounts option'.

Step 4 : Then click on the 'Family and other users' option.

Step 5 : Under the other user section, You will see the name of the other user's accounts.

Step 6 : Click on that account which you want to delete.

Step 7 : Once you clicked on that account, You will see a remove button. Click on it to proceed further.

Step 8 : After clicking, a 'Warning window' will appears, Here the window is asking you to backup the data associated with that account which you’re deleting.

Step 9 : Click on 'Delete account and data'. After few seconds you will see that the account is no longer available.
